It is said that Yveltal is the embodiment of Destruction, Chaos and Death. It brought destruction and chaos throughout Kalos. It almost brought all of the Kalos region to its knees. It has the ability to steal and absorb the life force of Pokemon and then the Pokemon's body withers away and dies. Its stasis form resembles that of a egg , hence the name the " The Egg of Death" when it awakens from its slumber life begins to die and wither around it.
