Blaine was once a mad scientist, people say during his younger days his mind got effected by the chemicals in his lab. But now that he is older he is finally sane, now he is known as the Demon of Flames doe to his overwhelming control and mastery of fire type Pokemon, no one knows more about fire types then Blaine his expertise in fire types is unmatched.
